Stirling lack firepower for Queen's Park clash as injuries take their toll
Stirling Albion will be without four strikers for their home game against Queen's Park.
Phil Johnston, Darren Smith and Salim Kouider-Aissa are all sidelined due to knee injuries and Craig Beattie is struggling with a groin injury.
Assistant manager Martyn Corrigan said: "To be missing so many front men is not great as every goal is crucial in this league.
"We played well at Arbroath last weekend in the first half but could not get in front and then lost a goal to their first attempt on target. That gave them momentum.
"Queen's Park are a good footballing side who are hitting the back of the net regularly, so this will be a tough game."
Queen's Park striker Chris Duggan misses out through suspension, while Tony Quinn (hip) and Sean Burns (ankle) are also unavailable.
James Baty is doubtful after a training ground injury, but Tony Ralston will return if there is no adverse reaction in training following a knock.
Head coach Gus MacPherson said: "We have done really well in our last games to defeat East Stirling and Elgin and we need to hit those heights again if we are to do anything at Stirling.
"They have a good squad and will be disappointed at losing to Arbroath last weekend and out to make someone pay for that."
