Olanrewaju injury blow as Stirling bid to kick-start their season
Stirling Albion will be without winger Moses Olanrewaju for their home game against Elgin after it was discovered he had fractured an ankle in the 4-1 defeat to Forfar last weekend.
Ross Forsyth remains sidelined with a knee injury and manager Stuart McLaren could also be without Jack McCue and Bryan Hodge, who are both carrying knocks.
McLaren said: "We know that we've not started the league as well as we would have liked and winning this game would be a great way to get us up and running.
"We defeated Elgin 4-1 in the Betfred Cup earlier in the season and a repeat of that would be fantastic."
Elgin will include former Stirling goalkeeper David Crawford as a trialist, but Scott Smith is still out with an ankle injury.
Manager Jim Weir is looking for a response after his side's 2-0 defeat to Clyde last weekend.
Weir said: "There is a bit of a hard luck story as we made mistakes at the back that were punished and their goalkeeper was excellent, however that will not change the result.
"They gave us a bit of a bloody nose in our last meeting when they scored three times in the second half and it would be good to make up for that."
