Duo missing for Stirling
Stirling are without the injured Ross McMillan (thigh) and Darren Smith (knee) as they begin league life after relegation with a visit from Clyde to Forthbank Stadium.
Ross McGeachie and Kevin McKinlay could return after knocks with assistant manager Martyn Corrigan predicting a tough afternoon between two sides out to get their seasons going.
Corrigan said: "Both Clyde and ourselves have lost our opening cup games and will be looking to forget about those disappointments by getting their league campaigns off to a winning start.
"We have both recruited heavily over the summer so this is an early opportunity to size each other up."
Clyde are without Scott Durie, who has a groin problem, with Mark McLaughlin a doubt after picking up an injury in last Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Livingston.
Manager Barry Ferguson reckons his side are taking on one of the favourites for the title and said: "There is a long season ahead and this is a very difficult game to open up with.
"Stirling have a strong squad and will be up there challenging for the title so it will be interesting to see how we get on.
"We deserved better from our game last weekend where we matched Livingston all the way but could not grab a goal."
