Season Review

This was a totally depressing season. The Albion travelling support dwindled to virtually zero - the six who were at Forfar on a Tuesday night in October is the smallest away support the Editor has ever been party of for an Albion game...At least we did manage to score a goal on August 8th away to Falkirk - our first since January...Our win against Albion Rovers on September 26th was our first since the previous January. The win away to East Fife in March was the first "on the road" for 14 months... When we beat Brechin 5-0 at Annfield 5-0 at Annfield in November it was the first time for a year that we had scored more than two goals in a league game...John Colquhoun emerged as a talented young striker during this season...Some of our line-ups from near the start of the season, notably at East Fife in September, were possibly the weakest ever Albion teams...Rab Dawson and Brian Grant made his debuts in the latter part of this quickly forgotten season...
