Season Review

The worst Albion season that i have ever experienced. Forgot 2001/02 - this was worse! We scored at Dunfermline on January 31st and that was it for the rest of the season - no more goals! 13 successive league games without a goal and i saw all of them...Relegated along with Berwick Rangers (amazingly not bottom) but totally inept, woeful and tragic...And yet there were bright spots...Beating Celtic 1-0 at Annfield in the League Cup; Taking them to within three minutes of a draw at Parkhead which would have seen us win over two legs; the 3-1 Scottish Cup win at Buckie Thistle with John Colquhoun scoring twice on his debut; a great 3-3 draw with Dunfermline at Annfield; a 2-0 win over Motherwell at Annfield in December; former PA announcer Stuart Kidd performing in a truly inebriated state at the match against Ayr United on New Years Day; the emergence of John Philliben as a talented young defender; the return from retirement of Rab Duffin...
