Supporters Club

The Stirling Albion Supporters Club is an organisation that runs a number of events throughout the season. The main priority of the club though is to run buses to away matches, to get as many Binos supporting the team away from home. The buses are organised by Jim Watson (01786 475573) and Stef Torrance (01295 219570) so for further information on how to join, or for bus times for future matches please contact them.

Rave on Line will have the times for all buses on the site, at least 5 days before the match, and these will be accessible via the bottom of the match pre-views for those specific games. The times for buses are also printed in ‘The Forthbank News and Wednesday and Friday’s editions of the Stirling Observer. The price for the buses vary depending on how long the journey is, and for longer journeys unfortunately there will be no concession prices available.

To take the Supporters Bus to away matches it is not necessary to join the Supporters Club, however, it is advisable to do so, or face being disappointed at big matches, when the bus is full with members. The bus has three stops in Stirling, The Borestone Bar, the Islamic Centre and the Halfway House. The Supporters Club are always on the lookout for new members, and new members are always made more than welcome.

The Supporters Club’s big night in the year comes at the end of the season with the Supporters Club Player of the Year Dance. The night included a meal, entertainment, an award ceremony, and usually large amounts of alcoholic beverages. Most of the Stirling Albion players and management also turn up, which make for an even better night, and Peter McKenzie the Stirling Albion chairman gives a speech on how the club have done over the season. Again it is not necessary to join the Supporters Club to attend the Player of the Year Dance, however, it is a very successful evening, and last year numbers were so big that it was sold out over a fortnight in advance.
