Stirling 3-1 Montrose- Match Report

Good Day for Stirling

A late goal from Stephen Day helped Stirling come from behind to beat Montrose 3-1.

Stephen McNally put the visitors in front in the 26th minute when he headed home from close range, but Montrose's lead was short-lived.

Jordan White pulled Stirling level 11 minutes later when he found the bottom left of John Gibson's goal from the edge of the area after good work from David McClune on the right wing.

Mark Ferry then put the hosts in front on the brink of half time when his 20-yard strike flew past Gibson.

The Binos came out of the blocks well in the second period and continued to throw everything at Montrose. Their persistence paid off in the 87th minute when Day found the bottom corner from 10 yards to seal the points.
