Peterhead throw away advantage

Play-off hopefuls Peterhead could only manage a 2-2 draw after throwing away a 2-0 lead against basement boys Stirling.

Peterhead started brightly and took a 1-0 lead after just 10 minutes, Martin Bavidge supplying the neat finish.

Jim McInally's men doubled their lead before the half hour mark when Ross Smith finished well from close range.

Stirling battled hard and pulled a goal back on 31 minutes thanks to Jordan White.

The second half was a tense affair with very few chances but Joshua Flood's introduction proved to be vital as he went on to rescue a point for Stirling.

Flood's clinical finish made it 2-2 after 83 minutes, just six minutes after the player had joined the action.
