Ferguson double helps sink Stirling

John Ferguson scored two second-half goals as Berwick beat Stirling 4-1 at Shielfield Park.

Lee Currie put the home side in front after 17 minutes when he tapped in from close range before Darren Lavery doubled their advantage on the brink of half-time with a fine header past Sam Filler in the Stirling goal.

Berwick came out of the blocks strongly in the second period and made it 3-0 in the 62nd minute when Fraser McLaren crossed in for Ferguson to tap home from six yards.

Stirling's Jordan White pulled one back from close range but it was too little, too late as Ferguson slotted past Filler in the 88th minute to seal the points for Berwick.
