Stirling Albion eventually ran out 4-2 winners against East Stirling in what was billed as a closed doors match at Grangemouth Stadium.

The Albion line up was:-

Hogarth

Scotland Roycroft Graham Forsyth

Young Fraser Boyack Devine

Turnbull Dunn

Subs:- Christie, Bell, Donnelly, Wilson, Taggart, Andrews and Shields.

All subs were used in the second half

In an entertaining match, played mainly on the ground, Stirling Albion ran out 4-2 winners thanks to 3 goals in the final half hour.

The Binos line up had Fraser, Young and Turnbull as trialists. Turnbull managed to win a few balls in the air whilst Fraser looked good in the centre of midfield.Young was always willing to run and was the scorer of the first goal when he headed a Chris Scotland free kick past the keeper.

Although the Binos used all 7 subs in the second half, the match didn't fall flat as usually happens. The Shire equalised in the 58th minute when the number 9 beat Forsyth to a diagonal ball and scored from the right hand side of the 18 yard box.
Andrews restored the Binos lead when a free kick from Devine was floated into the penalty area. The clearance seemed to hit of the Albion trialist and the ball sneaked past the keeper.
Shields increased the lead in the 78th minute when he latched on to a loose ball and turned to send a right foot shot past the keeper. 2 minutes later it was 4-1 when a Devine free kick carried too much power for the Shire keeper who did manage to get his hands to it but was unable to prevent the ball going into the net.
Right on full time the Shire number 8 made it 4-2.
