Cult Heroes

Last updated : 29 August 2004 By Rave On Line Editor

Who are Stirling Albion’s cult heroes? Can you come up with three players who had that something special – whether it was cheeky charisma, a player who made the crowd buzz or just his sartorial style.

These players won’t necessarily be your all-time greats but ones you remember with a smile. Once we have your short-list we’ll highlight it on one of our Focus shows – 12.10 on Saturday on BBC 1 – and ask for a national vote on our website that week. Stirling Albion’s winner will be announced on the next Focus.

So send us your cult hero top three and tell us why you’ve chosen, them to either football@bbc.co.uk or Cult Heroes, Room 5070, TVC, Wood Lane, London, W12 7RJ

Sow who would you include as Albion cult heroes? The editor of the website, whose memories only go back 15 years, would have to say that players such as Willie Watters, Alex Bone, Ronnie McQuilter and Andy Smith all stand out for different reasons.
