Binos Face Mini Defense Crisis

Defensive Crisis

Ahead of Saturday's tricky away match down in Berwick Stirling Albion boss Allan Moore faces a mini defence crisis. With George Rowe likely to miss out again, after being injured in the 5-1 thrashing by Brechin City, and Mark McNally's suspension, after receiving a double red card against Arbroath the squad lies very thin for defenders. McNally was adjudged to have been the last man, when it was quite clear he wasn't and was given a straight red, and then shown another red straight after for foul and abusive language aimed at officials. This also resulted the Albion Player/Assistant Manager reaching the maximum disciplinary points, thus resulting in the three match suspension he has been given by the Scottish Football League.

The Binos are likely to, either move full back Paul Nugent to centre half and give summer signing Barry Neville his first start of the league season, or draft in young centre half Sean Roycroft who has stared in some reserve matches in recent weeks and also scored the winning penalty against Falkirk in the Stirlingshire Cup Final.
