Binos Drop Interest in Trialist

Twenty Nine year old Michael Renwick had featured in games against Bathgate Thistle and Hamilton Accies, but Allan Moore has taken the decision not to follow up his interest in the centre half / full back. The Binos are already well catered for in defence, with Mark McNally, George Rowe and Chris Scotland, so Moore decided it was more important to strengthen other areas of the team. Moore has said he is desperate to sign another goalkeeper, to push Myles Hogarth for the Number One jersey, another defender and a striker.

The decision is probably a bit harsh on the former Hibs man, as he looked a more than accomplished player in his two outings for the team. He slotted in nicely alongside George Rowe at centre half against Bathgate, and was one of the best performers in a disappointing display against Hamilton Accies. However, it is believed a number of Third Division clubs are interested in the player, so it should not be long before he finds himself a new club.
