#15 – Dens Park, Dundee

Last updated : 23 July 2004 By Rave On Line Editor

The main stand at Dens Park has changed little, although both ends of the ground now have smart new stands. The old Dens Road terrace is still extant, although it is now an all-seated area.

The last time that Albion fan would have ventured into that part of Dens Park was back in the late 1970s, prior to segregation being enforced at Scottish games. Traditionally the Albion fans stood behind the goal their team was shooting into and this involved some dangerous incursions into enemy territory.

None more so than changing ends at half-time on August 27th 1977, when Albion were leading 1-0 against Dundee at Dens Park – that was the final score as well.
