#11 – Annfield Park, Stirling.

At the start of a new century it would be remiss not to feature Annfield, the ground where Stirling Albion were born, raised and nurtured between 1945 and 1992.

Of all the Scottish League grounds Annfield had a unique character. Perhaps it was the spacious layout in a town centre location; perhaps it was the jerry-built nature of the stand thrown together when building materials were scarce at a time of post war austerity?

Nobody could quite put their finger on what it was about Annfield that made it so good.
