Of all grounds that have been upgraded in Scotland, the transformation at Tynecastle is probably the most stunning. It is 13 years since Albion played there, and then it was falling apart – away fans had the huge and usually near-deserted Gorgie Road and. Now there are new stand on three sides of the ground, creating a compact and intimidating atmosphere. There were plans to replace the old main stand with a fourth new construction, however, it now seems more likely that the club will move away from its long lasting home with ground sharing with Scottish Rugby the most likely option.
